iPhone eSIM Setup Guide
Have the QR code from your payment confirmation email ready, then follow the steps below. We recommend installing over Wi-Fi before you depart.
Before you start
- •Make sure you are connected to a stable Wi-Fi network.
- •Your device must support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked (no SIM lock).
- •Have the QR code (or the SM-DP+ address and activation code) from your confirmation email ready.

Check your Wi-Fi connection
Confirm you're on a stable Wi-Fi network in Settings. An internet connection is required to download the eSIM.

Settings → Cellular (Mobile Data)
Open the Settings app and go to 'Cellular' or 'Mobile Data'.

Add eSIM / Add Cellular Plan
Tap 'Add eSIM' or 'Add Cellular Plan', then choose 'Use QR Code'.

Scan the QR code
Scan the QR code from your confirmation email with the camera. If you can't use the QR, choose 'Enter Details Manually' and input the SM-DP+ address and activation code.

Add the plan and label the line
Once the plan is added, give the line a name (e.g. Travel) and set your default and data lines.

Turn on Data Roaming at your destination
After you arrive, select the eSIM line and turn on 'Data Roaming' to complete activation.

After you arrive
Once you arrive, turn on Data Roaming for the eSIM line in Settings to activate data. Validity is counted from your first connection (activation) at your destination.
