Android eSIM Setup Guide
Have the QR code from your payment confirmation email ready, then follow the steps below. Menu names may vary slightly by manufacturer and model.
Before you start
- •Make sure you are connected to a stable Wi-Fi network.
- •Your device must support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked (no SIM lock).
- •Have the QR code (or the SM-DP+ address and activation code) from your confirmation email ready.
- STEP 1
Check your Wi-Fi connection
Confirm you're on a stable Wi-Fi network in Settings. An internet connection is required to download the eSIM.

Settings → Connections → SIM manager
Open Settings and go to 'Connections' → 'SIM manager' (or 'SIM card manager', depending on your device).

Add eSIM
Tap 'Add eSIM' or 'Add mobile plan', then choose 'Scan QR code'.

Scan the QR code
Scan the QR code from your confirmation email. If you can't use the QR, enter the SM-DP+ address and activation code manually.

Download and activate the eSIM
Follow the prompts to download and activate the eSIM. When done, the new line appears in the SIM manager.

Turn on Data Roaming at your destination
After you arrive, set the eSIM line as your default data line and turn on 'Data Roaming' to complete activation.

After you arrive
Once you arrive, turn on Data Roaming for the eSIM line in Settings to activate data. Validity is counted from your first connection (activation) at your destination.
